Rooms, tables, events, the bathhouse, the gaming lounge — all of it comes to the same desk. We answer inside one working day, and usually inside two hours between 8am and 8pm.

- Concierge desk — 7am to 10pm. Outside those hours the night manager does the same job with less enthusiasm about the weather.
- Parking — 51 on-site spaces, free, first-come. Height limit 2.1 m at the Coote Road entrance.
- Accessibility — step-free from the car park and the street entrance, lift to every floor, four accessible rooms on floors two and three. The bathhouse pool has a hoist.
Getting here
- From Hawke's Bay Airport — 6.4 km, seven minutes. Our shuttle runs on the hour between 7am and 9pm; tell us your flight number and we will meet it. Taxis are on the rank outside arrivals.
- By car from the south (SH2, Hastings) — follow signs for Napier Port, then Coote Road up Bluff Hill. The last three hundred metres are steep and the turn into the car park is sharper than it looks.
- By car from the north (SH2, Wairoa) — through Bay View and Westshore; cross the Ahuriri bridge and turn right before the town centre.
- On foot from town — fifteen minutes up from Emerson Street, or nine minutes down from here. There are steps at the Shakespeare Road end that cut five minutes off.
- By bus — the goBay network runs to the town centre; the closest stop is on Hospital Hill, an eight-minute walk.
- By train — there is no passenger rail to Napier. The nearest is Palmerston North, two hours and fifteen minutes by road.
What the desk will do for you
- Airport transfers, on the hour, free for guests.
- Cape Kidnappers tractor tours — booked with the operator, and checked against the tide the night before.
- Cellar-door itineraries. We will tell you which four to visit and, more usefully, which to skip.
- Restaurant bookings in town, including the ones at Ahuriri that do not take online reservations.
- Bicycles — six of them, free, and they go quickly in January.
- Dry cleaning, back the following afternoon except Sundays.
- Prescription and pharmacy runs. Ask; it is not a strange request.
